After a record-breaking, sold-out, four-day attendance of 564,000 at the 2026 British Grand Prix – the highest in Formula 1 history – the event is set to return in July 2027. Demand for tickets is likely to be just as high, with at least five British drivers expected to be on the grid again next year.
Silverstone has announced that tickets for the 2027 British Grand Prix will go on sale to the general public on September 24, with various pre-sales taking place first (more info below).
After the 2023 ticket sale was plagued with issues, changes were made to the on sale process for 2024 which made it easier for Formula 1 fans to secure tickets. However, Silverstone deployed a dynamic pricing model, which saw some fans’ tickets increase significantly in price between ticket selection and checking out. Dynamic pricing has remained in place since – and is likely to be used again for the 2027 ticket launch – though a less aggressive pricing model has been used in the last two years.
2027 British Grand Prix tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Thursday September 24. On the day that ticket sales begin, the official circuit website is the only place to buy legitimate grandstand and general admission tickets. Hospitality packages are available via third party sites, however, and tickets do become available via resellers after the initial sales period begins.
Below, you can find further details about the dates on which 2027 British Grand Prix tickets will go on sale, as well as a full price list.
Priority Access for Silverstone Racing Club Members
2027 British Grand Prix tickets will be available first to members of the Silverstone Racing Club. Three levels of membership are available: Grid Membership, Full Circuit Membership and SRC 1966 Membership. While the latter is open by invitation only, Grid Membership of the Silverstone Racing Club is priced at £135, while Full Membership is priced at £235.
Grid Membership has offers a one-week priority access window – with tickets on sale from 10am on Thursday September 17 – while pre-sale access for Full Membership holders takes place 24 hours earlier – eight days before tickets are on sale to the general public.
As well as priority access to 2027 British Grand Prix tickets, membership grants access to club events plus various other perks. It is worth bearing in mind that 2027 British Grand Prix tickets are highly unlikely to sell out during the priority access window.
Is it Worth Buying Priority Access for British Grand Prix Tickets?
Thanks to the use of dynamic pricing, for some fans, it has worked out as more cost effective to buy access to the priority ticket sale for British Grand Prix tickets in recent years.
In 2026, the largest price increases between the start of the pre-sale for members and the start of the general sale were seen in the Hamilton Straight A grandstand, where prices for a 3-day ticket increased by £160 before the general sale began. Prices increased by £120 in the both the Club Corner and Copse B stands and by close to £100 in the Hamilton Straight B, Copse A Village B, Woodcote A and Luffield stands.
Up to 4 tickets can be bought with a single priority access pass. If you are buying multiple tickets, paying to access the pre-sale before ticket prices increase can be cost effective.
3-day General Admission prices increased by £30 between the start of last year’s pre-sale and the beginning of the general sale, increasing from £269 to £299.

For Silverstone Racing Club members, camping and glamping tickets have gone on sale one week prior to the priority ticket sale (in 2026, SRC members could access the camping and glamping pre-sale from 10am on Thursday September 4).
When Do 2027 British Grand Prix tickets go on sale?
2027 British Grand Prix tickets will be on sale to the general public from 10am on Thursday September 24.
In the last few years, all ticket categories for the British Grand Prix (grandstand, general admission and enclosures) have gone on sale to the general public at the same time. Be sure to be in the queue for tickets well ahead of the time at which they are scheduled to go on sale. The more expensive and sought-after grandstands – namely Hamilton Straight A and Abbey B – General Admission Plus, General Admission and enclosure tickets are available to buy from 10am on Thursday September 24.

Camping and glamping tickets for the 2026 British Grand Prix will be on sale to non-members from Friday September 5 at 10am. Official camping bookers then had the opportunity to partake in a priority Grand Prix ticket sale on Wednesday September 23 at 11am.
The Landostand Returns in 2027 – and the George Russell Grandstand Arrives
Lando Norris first partnered with Silverstone for the 2025 British Grand Prix and will once again have a grandstand exclusively for his fans in 2027. The grandstands formerly known as Stowe A, B and C are now home to the 16,00 capacity Landostand. The three-day cost of Landostand tickets in 2026 was £539. Prices for 2027 have not yet been announced.
In previous years, all ticket holders received free merchandise and it’s likely that there will be exclusive appearances from Lando Norris throughout the weekend. Tickets for the Landostand in 2027 will go on sale from 11am on Friday September 18.
For the first time, George Russell will also have his own grandstand in 2027, located at Farm Curve. Priority access begins at 2pm on Wednesday September 23. Sign up for access here.
American Express Pre-Sale
Like last year, there will once again be a further opportunity for fans to purchase British Grand Prix tickets ahead of the general sale thanks to a pre-sale for American Express card holders. The Official Amex Presale commences at 10am on Monday September 21, three days before the general sale starts. The pre-sale is open to all new and existing American Express Cardmembers.

How much will 2027 British Grand Prix tickets cost?
In recent years, Silverstone has deployed a dynamic pricing model, which has caused ticket prices to skyrocket within hours. In 2023, General Admission access went on sale at £219, before prices worked their way up to £349 as a result of demand. In 2024, race organisers said that the pricing model would be less aggressive, with Silverstone’s Managing Director Stuart Pringle saying that the circuit “learned a lot of lessons and we can’t have a repeat of [2023].” Nevertheless, ticket prices still increased by up to £200 in some grandstands within a week of going on sale. It was a similar story in both 2025 and 2026.
The British Grand Prix is one of the more expensive races to attend on the Formula 1 calendar. The average price of 3-day tickets in 2026 is the eighth most expensive of all races this year. A packed support schedule and nightly big-name concerts go some way to justifying the hefty prices.

Hi
When are roving grandstand tickets for Silverstone 2024 available to buy please?
Thanks, Fiona
I think you’ll find they are already on sale via the Silverstone Circuit
Do the extras go on sale immediately with the first pre-sale?
Fast Track
Inner Track
Pit Walk
Might they sell out before the general public main sales opening date?
Wonder if need a Grid membership to guarantee getting any of those, even if don’t need the price protection element as hoping for Landostand which is usually fixed not dynamic pricing.
