Having set the bar for its range of musical acts since first joining the calendar in 2008, the Singapore Grand Prix can feel more like a music festival than a Grand Prix weekend at times! The event is set to take place for the 16th time in 2025 and race organisers have confirmed the headline acts who’ll be performing over the race weekend.

The entertainment line-up at the event is supersized, with an eclectic selection of chart-topping headline acts joining the bill. In February, race organisers unveiled music icon Elton John and Korean star G-Dragon as the first headliners for the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix weekend. G-Dragon will be the first headline performance on Friday October 3, while Elton John headlines post-race on Sunday October 5.

Now, the full selection of talent appearing on stage across the Marina Bay race weekend has been revealed, with acts including Foo Fighters, Lewis Capaldi, Alan Walker, Crowded House, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Wombats and Tom Grennan all set to perform.

Elton John and G-Dragon Set to Perform

South Korean superstar rapper G-Dragon is set to perform at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix. Opening up the weekend as the first headline act on Friday October 3, G-Dragon is the leader of K-pop band BigBang. He was the first Korean solo artist to enter the Billboard 200 in the United States. Ahead of his Singapore Grand Prix performance in October, G-Dragon will release his first full-length studio album in over 11 years in February 2025.

Having sold over 300 million records in a career spanning over 60 years, Elton John will close out the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix weekend on Sunday October 5. With timeless hits like Tiny Dancer, Your Song and I’m Still Standing, he completed a five-year long “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour in 2023 and later that year performed a memorable headline slot at Glastonbury for the final stop on his UK tour.

This will be the first time Elton John has performed in Singapore since 2015. He has previously performed at an F1 race, most recently having appeared on the line-up for the 2015 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas.

Who Else Is Performing at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix?

The Padang Stage is the main concert area at the Singapore Grand Prix and features the weekend’s biggest acts. Previously announced G-Dragon will be joined on the Friday line-up by South Korean singer and rapper CL on Friday October 3. Saturday night features headline performances from legendary rock band Foo Fighters and EDM star Alan Walker. Sunday night is reserved for music royalty, with Elton John rounding out the weekend with his first performance in Singapore in a decade. Lewis Capaldi also performs on Sunday.

The Wharf Stage, in Zone 1, is the second-biggest concert stage at the Singapore Grand Prix and will feature five headline performances. British band Clean Bandit open the stage on Friday, Australasian rock band Crowded House – known for hits like Don’t Dream It’s Over and Weather With You – perform Saturday along with The Naked and Famous, while alt-rock icons The Smashing Pumpkins and British indie rock band The Wombats are headlining on race day.

The Downtown Stage, near the Cenotaph in Zone 4, will see a number of rising stars perform. Maisie Peters, DJ Admin and OAKË, are the headliners on Friday night, Babymetal, DJ Questionmark and chart-topping British acts The Lathums and Tom Grennan are the stars of the show on Saturday and Hanna and Rum Jungle will be on stage on Sunday.

There are a number of other smaller stages around the track, including the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at Esplanade stage, where Putri Ariani, Belle Sisoski, Indo Warehouse, Tokyo Groo

ve Jyoshi and The Island Voices are set to perform. Indo Warehouse and Downtown stage headliner Hanna will also be performing on the Sunset Stage over the weekend – a stage largely reserved for DJ sets from the likes of Pete Tong and Melanie C. Acts for the Sail and Garage Stages are yet to be announced.
