Ticket prices have now been released for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, with promoter sales beginning on October 13 (note that partners such as our supplier, Grand Prix Tickets, are already on sale). Prices remain competitive for the Japanese Grand Prix, especially when expressed in USD (the yen remains weak against major international currencies), though most grandstand ticket prices have increased slightly from 2025 to 2026. Scroll down for the full 2026 Japanese Grand Prix price list.
Japan is a popular and relatively expensive tourist destination, especially for flights and accommodation during the โcherry blossomโ season when the Japanese Grand Prix is now held. On the positive side, the Japanese yen has fallen against most major currencies in recent years (especially the US dollar). Suzuka tickets are also good value. Japan sells the fourth cheapest tickets of the 2025 season, according to our ranking of 2025 F1 ticket prices. Japan is also one of the most affordable races of the year for locals to attend. Compare the cost of an F1 weekend across the 2025 F1 calendar here.

Official 3-day ticket prices published by the promoter of the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix. Prices do not include any booking or processing fees. The most expensive grandstands (A2, Q2, V1 and V2) have individual bucket seats with headrest. All other grandstands have bench seating (bleachers), with the exception of cheap new temporary grandstands (G3, G4, G5, M, P & O) which are concrete/gravel terraces built into the side of the hill. Grandstands M & P are new temporary terraced seating areas within West Open Area, which is otherwise general admission.

Hi Andrew, do you know when the general admission tickets will be on sale for the Japan grandprix? Also what general admission tickets are available, 3 day only or 1 day only tickets and how much they roughly cost.
Cheers, Josh
General Admission tickets (G,L,M,N,O) should go on sale on July 8. Last year, these were $78 for 3 days. I don’t think single-day tickets are available. More info in our Tickets Guide.
Awesome thanks! will most likely get the GA tix!
Is there camping at the circuit for the weekend, being Friday Saturday nights, and also possible Sunday night? Went to the Super GTs at Fuji raceway, and could camp for free, hoping same possible for this weekend.
I don’t know of any camping available at Suzuka for F1, sorry
Dear author and readers,
Japan’s consumption tax will rise on this October 1 (8% -> 10%), then fares and prices can be slightly higher than last year.
Thanks for the information
Any recommended website to just buy the tickets (no packages)?
Tickets will be available via the Suzuka Circuit website. We should also have tickets available via our supplier. Sign up to our mailing list and check the box for Japan, we will notify you when tickets go on sale.
Any idea yet as for when tickets will go on sale for 2023?
I’ve been told by my ticket company that sales won’t begin before May, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go on sale a bit earlier, like in March
Hi
First time to Suzuka F1 with kids
Any ideas on the pricing of the tickets?
Hi Mark, we don’t yet have the pricing for 2023. To be honest, I didn’t save it from last year either as it wasn’t really possible for foreigners to attend. Most recent I have saved is from 2019; most grandstand tickets were priced from $200-400 USD with a few like V2 upper and around the first corner at higher prices.
Hi Andrew – for the Japanese Grand Prix in 2024 will they be selling one day tickets or will they just sell 3 day tickets? Thanks
I think it’s only 3 day tickets
What is the best way to get to the track from Nagoya?
Either a direct bus or one of two different train services. More info here: https://gpdestinations.com/getting-around-japanese-grand-prix/
