Ticket prices for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix have increased substantially since the pandemic, though the biggest price hikes were in 2024 and 2025. The race at Baku City Circuit now offers the tenth most expensive race tickets, according to our 2026 Formula 1 Ticket Price Ranking. It’s worth noting that local residents receive a 50% discount on ticket prices; Azerbaijan is the only race on the calendar to offer any kind of discount for locals, though tickets are still unaffordable based on average wages. With the exception of international chain hotels near the circuit, hotel prices – and general on-the-ground prices in Baku – are very affordable.

Hi Andrew,
Planning a trip to 2019 Baku F1 and would like your expert advice on the grandstand tickets.
I can only attend on race day and wanted to check with you if there are any sites which will only sell Sunday grandstand tickets.
We are 4 people and deciding on either Mugham or Icheri grandstands? Which of these do you prefer and what is good about it.
Thanks,
Hi Philip, I don’t know of any sites selling race-day only tickets, sorry. I haven’t personally sat in either grandstand, but I’d choose Mugham as it’s closer to the Fanzone and you can see two sections of the track. Enjoy!
Baku is a great city, with the beautiful infrastructure, i just missed out to watch F1 when visited last time.
the people in baku are very friendly to the tourist irrespective of any country.
So this year i have planned to witness the F1 RACE IN Baku happening in april.
Hello,
do you know when the General Admission tickets will be available?
Not until much closer to race weekend. Last year, only about 4 weeks before the race. But if you can afford it, I would go for a grandstand instead. General Admission is not great in Baku
