The Australian dollar has been relatively weak against major international currencies in recent years, making the race at Albert Park a cheaper proposition for fans traveling from overseas.ย The Australian Grand Prix also represents very good value for money when considering the high overall standard of accommodation, circuit organization and service levels. On the downside, ticket prices have been increasing in recent years due to very high demand.ย

Last year the Australian promoter implemented dynamic pricing for the sale of race tickets, which increased ticket prices even more when ticket sales were launched.ย Dynamic pricing wasn’t used for 2026 tickets, but headline prices were higher. Four-day Parks Passes (General Admission) are up by 24.6% year on year, whilst grandstand ticket prices have increased between 7.6-32%. According to our 2026 Formula 1 ticket price ranking, Australia is the seventh cheapest race to attend across the F1 calendar.

  1. Are these prices per person? Have been looking at hospitality experiences but no where does it tell you if the pricing is per person

    1. Yes, they did Peter. Sorry if you missed out. I think there’s a few factors here. Biggest is that these packages went on sale before the general release of tickets for the Australian GP. So the demand is even higher. Secondly, I do work for the F1 Experiences brand and know that they have a big network of sales agents in Australia. I’d say this network was responsible for most of the sales yesterday. Keep an eye out though, as I think some more packages will be added.
